P.S

Joe and went to Zoo Lights at the Hogle Zoo a couple weekends ago and if you want something fun and festive its totally worth it! They had lots of animated animal lights and Joe even bought me a hot cocoa mug that lit up.

Christmas Eve

Its Christmas time! Once again Joe and I are on our own for Christmas. This will be our second year without being with either my family or Joe’s family. Last year we were really sad and it was kind of depressing on Christmas Eve but we still did our thing…had dinner, watched Christmas Vacation, and started some of our own traditions such as opening only 1 present on Christmas Eve which of course was our pajamas that we picked out for each other. Joe always picks out the cutest pajamas! Or should I say our friends or the sales woman at the store!! Last year we started our snowboarding tradition of going up on the mountain after we open presents Christmas morning and going boarding all day. Well things are going to be slightly different this year. We aren’t going to be as sad this year! We got my family Christmas fill last weekend with my family in Twin Falls. One of my favorite things ever is all 20ish or so of us being in one house for the weekend. It is really hard to leave when Sunday afternoon comes around. We are also starting another new tradition…one of my favorite Christmas movies is The Santa Clause with Tim Allen, and in that movie they go to Denny’s on Christmas Eve! What a fun new tradition to start, and we are so starting it! So today goes as follows…when we get off work we are going to go get new pajamas because we are slackers and didn’t do it earlier! Then we have to go get stuff to make breakfast in the morning (breakfast for dinner and breakfast for breakfast!) then later on we will go to Denny’s for dinner, then go drive around and look at lights, then into our pajamas we go and on the couch to watch Christmas Vacation. And as for tomorrow goes, no snowboarding for me (or Joe for that matter, he needs a new board, which by the way he is getting this year!) but Joe’s mom did get us the Shawn White snowboarding game to get our boarding fix!! And we thank her very much for it! We are also going to go see Bedtime Stories with our friend Rory and his son Ashton, then off to Spanish Fork to see my Godparents (also known as our other set of Parents, gosh we love them!) to play Bingo and chow down!
