So we’ve been in the house for over a week now and we just love it.
It is so nice having room and space and storage. Everything is pretty much put together which is nice. We still have to get our love seat out of storage for our upstairs living room, then that room will pretty much be done. I have one random box of kitchen stuff that I stare at every day but just can’t bring myself to put the stuff away! Its full of beer glasses and shot glasses and stuff like that…if I can’t use them, they can stay in the box! My wonderful friend Melonnie and her husband gave us their dining room table and chairs, which looks awesome in our dining room, which means that the ugly round table we did have is now in the garage aka the man cave. I’m not a fan of round tables anyway, they can have it! And I was bugged at the idea of the garage being their little man cave but I’m totally not anymore…I didn’t have to give them an actual room! I am however dreading having to get the rest of the stuff out of storage being that a lot of Joe’s stuff is in there and its all “boy” stuff that I know he is going to try and hang up every where, but I can’t stand some of the things he wants to hang up so hopefully we can compromise on just putting it in the garage. We’ll see who wins that battle!

The Dr. said on Friday that Champ is still high and I’m still sealed! Or as Joe likes to say “Nic’s still high and tight”. So needless to say it is not an “any day now” kind of week yet! Maybe next week, but I really doubt it. I've been feeling pretty good, really I can't complain, but man am I tired. Thinking about taking a half day of work off and going home and napping!

My little sister Angela flew in on last Wednesday and has been such a big help. I do however feel a little bad that she is at home all day but I guess it can’t be that bad…a house full of food and cable with lots of movies On Demand! She helped me go grocery shopping on Friday, we did laundry on Saturday and she painted my toenails for me too. We all went to the air show on Sunday and it was FREEZING! We thought it would be rainy outside but warm like it had been earlier in the week but it wasn’t. Ang and I both wore skirts and flip flops and luckily we did bring hoodies. We were there for a couple hours and we should have been more prepared. We didn’t bring chairs or anything like that. I was exhausted so the boys took us home, Ang and I grabbed some lunch, turned on a movie and took a nap, and the boys went back to the air show. On their way home they witnessed a crazy wreck that I think freaked both of them out a little bit, but luckily they weren’t involved. Its amazing how seeing things like that happening right in front of you can really
get to you.

Monday I took Angelo to the mall because she wanted some cute new shoes. When I asked her what kind of shoes she told me she wanted something summery that she could “like wear on a date”. I have to remember that she is 16. To me she is still 10. It weird to hear her talk about boys and friends and driving places with her friends and so on. Anyway, we found he some super cute “summery date wearing” shoes and I got a super cute new dress. I love finding things that aren’t maternity that I can wear 9 months pregnant and still be able to wear not pregnant. And now when I shop I look for things that will have easy boob access! Not going to lie…I never ever thought I’d ever hear myself say that! And did I mention that I got to wear my cute new dress on a date last night?! Joe called me yesterday afternoon and told me that we needed more one on one personal time together with just the two of us because that is what he read that we needed most right now in the weekly baby update! So he planned a little dinner date night and I was so nice having just the two of us together. He wouldn’t tell me where we were going but I’m so smart that just by him saying “its not that special, but its special to us” I knew where we were going...the Macaroni Grill. That is one of our favs. And it is special to us. Joe took me there on my fifteenth birthday for dinner. He sold his scooter like thing back in the day so I could have a cool fifteenth birthday! And we went there for just about every formal dance for dinner. Then after dinner I decided that I was tired of the boys making fun of me for putting up picture frames downstairs with no pictures of us in them, so I filled them. Some of them still had the fake people inserts in them, and Cory kept referring to them as “my friends” so I finally filled all but one with pictures.

And we have a temporary new addition to the family. His name is Tray and he is a big o boy boxer. He is so well behaved and snuggly and lovey just like Lola. In fact it’s Lola’s boyfriend. They love each other! We are doggie sitting for awhile until his parents can move out of where they are living or until I go into labor, which ever one comes first. I’m going to be sad to see him leave. We just love him so much. And now Ang doesn’t have to be scared sleeping in a new place because Tray sleeps with her! Actually all three dogs love being with her, especially when she is on the couch!

And as long as Champ doesn’t think he needs to share a birthday with his G-ma Kathy I think we have a pretty fun weekend planned.

We had quite the eventful weekend.

I had a drs appointment on Friday, and the Dr. said that Champ isn’t coming any time soon. We were honestly glad to hear that because we have to move before he comes. And I know the little guy will make his appearance when he is darned and ready too, just like his daddy, on his own time, when he wants to! I guess that’s kind of how we both work. It’ll be interesting to see how we function as a family of three. Not that I’m worried, but it will be exciting to see what is to come. Now that I’m more anxious and I want the day to come sooner, I have a feeling that he’ll be an overdue little boy! I gained a pound since last week and my blood pressure was a little higher than it normally is but I’m going to blame that on the fact that I was super busy at work before I left and was trying to get a ton of stuff done. I’ve also noticed in the last week that I’m having a lot more Braxton Hicks contractions, which are normal of course, it’s just weird to feel my big o belly rock hard!

Joe came home from work on Friday just a mess. He couldn’t even talk to me about it until he pulled himself together. Joe found out that his boss got promoted and was leaving so now he’ll have a new one. He wasn’t upset about who was taking over, he was upset at the fact that his boss was leaving. His boss is like a dad to him. They were pretty close and he has done a lot for Joe. So Joe was pretty stinking upset. I felt bad for him. But he knows life goes on, and he isn’t going to work any less than he already does, and luckily he had a nice long busy weekend to not think about it.

On Saturday morning we got up pretty early for a Saturday (and once again it was wonderful waking up with my husband next to me on a Saturday!) and went on a walk. It was so nice and peaceful and people are much nicer in the morning. So has we were walking I noticed that my hands got HUGE. Like way bigger than they usually are when I wake up in the morning, and my palms and fingers turned bright red and got spotty. Then I could hardly bend the darn things. Then I wondered if that is how really big people feel. I know, I know, that is kind of mean but you know the really, really big people…anyway. Joe laughed at me because I wouldn’t let him hold my fat hands! Then I decided to hold hands with him and then he wouldn’t hold hands with me…he said it was like holding a man’s hand. Oh…totally cracks me up! We went home and went to the swimming pool. Being in a pool when you’re pregnant is weird. I couldn’t really swim because swimming uses a lot of your core, and my belly felt funny being in the water! I even got out once to make sure that it was still normal! So I hung on to Joe and we floated around for awhile! Then we got ready and went to meet our landlords, who by the way are super awesome. Instead of a typical “Hi how ya doing handshake” she gave me a hug and rubbed my belly! So we got the keys and headed off for a nice much needed lunch date!

And on Sunday…we moved!!
Joe had some friends come over and help, which we were super grateful for, thanks guys! They started about 9 and we had pretty much everything except the food out by 2. I had been packing little by little all week so it wasn’t too hard to move. We do have some stuff in storage but not a lot, and that will come out possibly tomorrow. Joe had today off so as I’m blogging (supposed to be working!) he is at the old apartment getting all the food out and some of the other stuff we didn’t grab yesterday. I must say that I’m super proud of him for actually doing it. It was like pulling teeth yesterday to make him help me unpack some things and put them away. And you know… he did wake up early with me this morning and he started to put more stuff away and organize other things as I got ready to go to work. He gets brownie points there! I didn’t even have to ask him! So, our little doggies were having a hard time yesterday in the new place. You’d think that they would just love it, nice big house to roam around in, good sized fenced in yard, a couch that sits right in front of a big window…but no. If we put them outside by themselves they’d whine and bark, if I put them in the house with me and if it was just me in there they’d whine, but you better believe that as soon as Joe was in the house with me they were fine, and as soon as we were both outside with them, they were fine. The poor girlies cannot let us out of their sight. It’s kind of a good thing I guess, and hopefully it will get easier on them. This morning Lola got up with me so I let her out and shut the door and she turned around and stared at me so I opened the door and she went half way down the stairs then stopped, turned around and looked and me, so I walked all the way out with her and then she went all the way down the stairs and went potty! I love our dogs! They just crack me up. Diesel on the other hand is so glued to Joe that she won’t do anything without Joe in her eye sight.
On another note…we are setting up Champ’s room this week, and I’m so excited to see everything put together. I have lots of baby laundry to do this week…good thing Ang is going to be here on Wednesday!

Star Trek, car wreck and I’m cranky!

It was nice having a long weekend. Normally we’d go up to Bear Lake and go camping but that wasn’t happening this year! Although I’m sure I could go, there is no way that my pregnant butt was going camping. I have to pee every ten minutes just sitting here, and just thinking about doing that in the woods didn’t sound appealing!
I had a doctor’s appointment on Friday afternoon and everything is still all sealed up! I’ve gained the biggest chunk of weight in the last two weeks than I have my entire pregnancy. I can’t help but to drop my jaw when I see that happen! I know its all for a good cause! But its just hard sometimes seeing the scale go up. I really don’t have room to complain, I’ve only gained 16 lbs total. Anyway, the doctor said that he would be surprised if anything happened anytime soon. And hey, lets be honest, that is good news to us right now! Although we can’t wait to meet our little guy, we have to move before he comes. I would really like to be settled in before we bring him home.

Did I mention that I get cranky in the evening?! Joe is such a trooper!

We rented the movie Seven Pounds on Friday night and I thought it was an awesome movie.

On Saturday night we ordered the UFC fights and had some friends over. Just in case you didn’t know this, Joe hasn’t missed one in 3 years. Do you know what that does for my cable bill? Ha-ha. And they totally put me to sleep these days! Maybe because I’m just so tired all the time!

We slept in together on Sunday (so wonderful!) then made breakfast, then I took a two hour nap, and it was so nice! When I woke up we went for a walk on the trail. Do to the rise of water that walk didn’t last long! One part of the trail was pretty flooded but we didn’t want to stop and go back home, so we ran through it! The water was up to the middle of my calves. I can’t even begin to tell you how Diesel got through that! Poor little girlie! I do have to admit that it was pretty fun! I think Joe thinks it’s more fun to watch me hold my belly and attempt to run!

It was so nice being able to sleep in two days in a row with Joe! I usually only get one! On Monday we got up and got ready and we were on our way to go get some lunch and to go see Star Trek. On the way there, this lady stopped at a green light on Bangater Highway for a fire truck. We luckily stopped in time as to NOT hit her, but the lady behind us had other plans, and hit us which made us hit the lady in front of us. I’ve never been in a car accident until yesterday and I’m going to have to admit that I was pretty shaken up. My bumpers are a little banged up and the bumper in front of us that we hit was a little banged up too, but all in all everyone was okay. When we all got out of our cars, everyone seemed to be really worried about the 8 month pregnant woman, but hey I’m fine! I do have to admit that I thought it was pretty retarded of this one onlooker driving by. As I’m standing outside the car with the other ladies and Joe, a guy who was in the other lane stopped asked me when was due. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t mind people asking but hello do you not see that we just got in an accident and you are asking me when I’m due then telling me when your baby is due…hate to break it to you dude, but I don’t care. I honestly just looked at him with the “are you freaking kidding me” look.
We still went to lunch afterwards because I was starving! Then we went to see Star Trek. Not going to lie, I really, really did not want to go see that movie. I told Joe the only reason I would go was because I love him and I think the main actor is smoking hot! And guess who loved that movie…me. I would definitely go see it again!

Things are starting to come together (kind of). We meet with our new landlords on Saturday, and hopefully we can start moving in on Sunday. Champ now has bedding for his crib thanks to G-ma Lisa! (She is my boss and more of a mom/friend than anything else).

(So this is his bedding. I know you can barely see it but I love it. Very classy!)

We just got some stuff that his Grandpa Les and Mi-ma sent, and we’ll also have his car seat and stroller tomorrow that his Papa Robert sent! My dad is also putting my little sister on a plane and sending her our way. Ang will be here Wednesday night. She is coming to help us…well me…put the place together and to stay with us until Champ is born. Not to mention she gets to get away from the step-sister, so it’s like a vacation for her! And hey, we could use the help. Having Joe help unpack and put things away is like pulling teeth. We are also going to have another roomy for awhile. Being that Cory graduated from USU this year, he has been wanting to move on and out of Utah and he actually got a job in Massachusetts. He planned it out so he doesn’t leave until August because he wants to be around for Champ. So Cory will be living with us for the summer. And even though I have a hard time letting people live with us, there is no way I could say no. Joe and Cory have been best friends pretty much forever and they are going to go from seeing each other every couple weeks to a month to maybe once a year. And plus I think it’s adorable that he wants to be around Champ before he leaves! It will be nice having that extra bit of help, but you better believe it when I say I’ve set ground rules for living together! Which kind of makes me sound mean and controlling but these boys together I tell you…they will stay up all night just talking and hanging out and laughing and drinking beer and eating, and they are loud. It’s almost like having two teenage girls in the house :) But I love em!

Did I also mention that my hips are killing me? But I still love every minute of being pregnant!

So did I mention that I’m 35 weeks? Only less than 4 weeks until my due date. Holy cow batman!
So going off of what else is new in our lives since the weekend of April 25th!...
We found a house to live in. I would like to say that we are buying but we aren’t and we are completely okay with that, so don’t judge. Everything kind of happened so quickly with getting pregnant and our lease being up that we needed to be sure that we had a place lined up to bring Champ home to. We are excited. It’s super nice and pretty big, and our land-lords rock & we will buy when we are good and ready to buy.
Now that I’ve gotten that off of my chest…
We are really hoping Champ will stay in his water balloon until at least the second week of June. We are moving the first week, and as much as I love Joe and Cory, I don’t trust them to pack. Boys just can’t pack! Well at least not Joe.

Mother’s Day was a couple Sundays ago. And I was really, really homesick, not to mention physically and emotionally tired. The night before I slept like crap and didn’t really go to sleep until 4 in the morning because my back hurt so bad. That sucked like a leech on your leg! So Joe bought some Tylenol and I finally broke down and took some. That day (like every year!) we went to Spanish Fork to the God Parent’s house. They always have a BBQ that day and Kathy planned another baby shower for us. We got lots more awesome presents that once again we are super grateful for. To add to the “Champ” collection, Kathy got us these cute little socks and they say “Champ” on them. Now it’s like a fun thing to find things that say “Champ” on them, and come on, how can you not buy the stuff?! Our friend Chelsey bought us a little outfit and it says “Champ” on the butt…so cute. We found a blanket that says “Daddy’s Champ” on it and hello of course I bought that, and these little shoes that say “Champ” and Joe said we had to get them, so of course they’ve been added to the collection! Even though it’s fun to find stuff like that, I’m pretty sure we’re done! You can only have so many things with your name on it until you become weird, or become weird parents!
Anyway, when we got to Kathy & Gayle’s house we were super duper surprised to see Stacy here from Japan, who by the way has made my new favorite game to play Mexican Train Dominos. I fully intend on buying that game before I go into labor and I fully intend on taking it to the hospital with us for that slow labor everyone keeps telling me about.

So pregnancy at 35 weeks… I love being pregnant. People keep saying “I bet you’re anxious to get that baby out of you” and I look at them and say, “No not really, I like him in there and he’ll come out when he wants to.” It kind of shuts people up.
I don’t feel any bigger. The bottom of my tummy is kind of sensitive. It might be because I keep bumping it on the stupidest stuff. You don’t realize how big your belly actually grew from before you were pregnant until you can’t sit the same way at your desk at work. Sleeping hasn’t really been an issue for me. I do wake up to pee in the middle of the night, but I go right back to bed.
I get super exhausted easily. Packing is going to be a nightmare. I think that the dogs can sense that we are getting closer. Their whole attitudes changed recently. They are even more protective and neither one of them will leave my sight. If I’m on the couch they are either both sitting next to me or one next to me and one on the floor by my feet. If I’m in the kitchen they both lay there and watch me until I leave then of course follow me to where I’m going. I love our dogs and hopefully Champ will love them too.
I have a doctor’s appointment tomorrow. It’s kind of crazy that I’m going to start seeing the doctor every week. Can’t believe we are already to that point. And we found out that Champ will be one of the last babies that our doctor will be delivering. He is retiring on June 30th, which is great for him, but it kind of bummed us out. We really like him.

Champ’s movements are lots harder nowadays. We definitely know where he is at in the belly. And I think it’s cool to just stare at my belly and just see him move. He has been a lot more active at bedtime these days and Joe loves it. He puts his hand on my belly when we go to bed and they poke each other back and forth, well Joe pokes and pushed on my belly and Champ either kicks or hits him back! It’s like their little playtime. I have a feeling that night time will be Daddy time! Or I can only hope!

I haven’t blogged in quite some time now.
On April 23rd Joe’s mom flew in from Texas for the weekend. We took her to the Jazz vs. Lakers game that night (like the only one they won). It was a super fun game, it totally sucks that overall we got beat out by the Lakers but it was still a fun game. Over the last couple years Joe and I have really gotten into basketball, and we love that we are so lucky to get to go to games throughout the season and we can’t wait until we can take Champ next year…we just can’t decide whose jersey to get for the little guy…wait I bet they don’t even have options for baby jerseys…needless to say as soon as we get one, everyone will know!
Being that we were at the Gateway we stopped at Gymboree to look at baby clothes and they were having a big sale. We got lots of cute stuff, but my favorite thing we got was Champ’s Halloween costume. Am I such a dork that we already have his Halloween costume? He’s going to be a little puppy dog, and he’ll look like Lola! I can’t wait for fun things like Halloween!
Anyway, the next night on our way to Idaho we stopped in Logan for Cory’s art gallery. For those of you who don’t know Cory is Joe’s BFF! He just graduated from Utah State, and he has some really cool pieces of pottery. It’s really cool to see the stuff he did when he very first started and looking at his stuff now. After that we had a fun dinner with Cory, his girlfriend, his parents and of course, me, Joe and Judie.
I love Cory’s mom. She’s such a great lady.
Ater that, we went to Twin Falls. My family threw us a baby shower that Saturday. It was fun, fun, fun!
My mom also took some pictures of us with the belly. And they turned out way better than I thought they would, way to go mom!

My sister totally out did herself. She made lots of yummy food and planned some games. So everyone knows the whole yarn around the belly bit…everyone measured their yarn and I went around from person to person, and man I must look bigger than I really am. The ONLY person who was close (actually he was right on, and won) was my brother. I don’t know about you but that just cracks me up.

Now on to presents. We got lots of cool stuff. And if you know me then you know that I’m super sensitive when it comes to my family. They can make me cry at the drop of a hat. Actually my brother can make me cry at the drop of the hat, but throw in those pregnancy emotions and I’ll cry because of a present I get! So yes I’m super grateful for ALL the presents we got but there were two things that just tugged at my heart…My sister got us this hooded towel that says “Little Champ” on it! It was the first thing that said “Champ” on it that we’ve gotten and it’s just too cute, so leave it to her to make me cry! Also my grandma got us these little blue bunny slippers. They are bunny slippers and they are blue!!!
And remember I LOVE bunnies!

Let’s not forget about the cake!

Ummm, enough said. Joe said it almost made him cry! Totally a Joe cake!

So Joe did something totally awesome while we were there. NOTHING is coming out of it but it’s the thought that counts. I have told Joe that if we ever move back to Idaho I would want to move to Twin Falls. I’ve always loved Twin since I was little. Joe snuck out and went to the Honda dealership in Twin. He talked to the service manager, and let’s just say… they couldn’t afford Joe. He was NOT looking for anything, he is just such a caring loving husband! And hell, we aren’t leaving SLC anytime soon, if ever. We love it here! Like I said it was the thought, and he did it because he loves me!

The end.

Easter weekend

So for those of you who don’t know, I LOVE Easter. Maybe it’s my love for bunnies and Easter’s little guy is the bunny! Maybe it’s the spring time feeling, I don’t know but it’s always been my favorite holiday! I get so excited to make Joe a basket and hide it too. This year Joe’s basket consisted of a six pack of Land Shark (Yes beer in the Easter basket! It’s because I’m cool like that!) And candy and new shoes. When Joe got up Sunday morning to take the dogs out I was very thankful because I got up, hurried and got his basket out of the closet, ran to the kitchen and put it in the fridge and ran back to bed! Little did I know he ran outside to his truck grabbed mine and hid it too. I think we just barely missed each other. So as I was lying in bed he was standing in the kitchen talking to me and when he turned around I threw one of his shoes at him! He was stoked then he started looking around for his basket and looked everyone except for the fridge. What a dork, I have been hiding it there every year! After he found his he told me I could look for mine and I was in shock. (Joe NEVER makes me an Easter basket) So I started looking around and found it and I was so happy I cried! In all the time we’ve been together he has never done this! I got a new dress, which was awesome because I’ve always gotten a new Easter dress since I was a wee little one! And I got a bunch of candy and lotion and a bracelet, nail polish and The Beach Boys greatest hits CD! I know I’m a nerd but I LOVE The Beach Boys! I did feel just a little bit guilty though…knowing that Joe has never made me a basket I went and got a pedicure and manicure on Saturday! But lets be honest, it was much needed because I can’t reach my toes!

We had a whole day planned out! We got ready and went to the movies. Fast & Furious was definitely worth seeing! And what can I say Paul Walker is HOT! Then we went to the Bees game. Baseball games are so fun! We bought Champ a little Bees hat while we were there. And then after the game we were off to our Easter tradition…dinner at the Hard Rock. Since we’ve lived together we’ve always gone to the Hard Rock for lunch or dinner, but when we got there we realized that there was no more Hard Rock CafĂ©. We had NO IDEA, and were totally bummed. And yes even though it’s over priced and the food really isn’t that great, it was our tradition. So we went to The Mayan, which is another one of those places that you only go once a year, because it’s overpriced, and really it kind of sucks, although I did have a yummy Pina Colada Strawberry smoothie! We had a super fantastic Easter! And to top things off late last night we found out that Joe’s mama will be coming to see us next weekend! She gets to come to my doctor’s appointment with us and our baby shower. We are really excited to see her.
(Easter also makes me really miss my own Easter Bunny Peanut. I secretly wished that a new bunny would appear but in reality I know it would only make me sad again.)

Tuesday, April 7, 2009

There has been a whole lot on my mind lately, and when you are pregnant you can’t help but to think “oh God I hope that doesn’t happen to me.” I thank God everyday that Champ and I are both happy and healthy, and I pray that we stay that way until he is a finished baked bun (and after that for that matter)! Which should be in June… (I’d really like June 15th Champ…but I know you’ll make your entrance on your own time). Things hit you so much harder when you know the people they happen to. Whether its giving birth to your precious baby that you know you can never bring home with you or whether its having your baby three weeks early and he sounds and looks perfectly fine and come to find out he needs heart surgery days after his delivery or when you have to deliver your baby when you are barley 28 weeks along, or how about the people who desperately want to get pregnant and have a baby but keep having miscarriages, yet some silly immature teenager who can't support herself can get pregnant in a minute. I think about these people everyday and I know it’s only going to make them stronger. They are all definitely in my thoughts and prayers. I cherish every moment that I have feeling Champ kicking and moving, and I don’t complain when I get heart burn or when my feet hurt because those are the joys of pregnancy and not every woman gets to experience them, and some woman get those things taken away in just one quick minute. I plan to cherish every moment that I have with Champ when he arrives too. Not just the smiles and laughs and milestones, but the puking and getting up in the middle of the night and the crying. And just a little thought for Chelsey…Henry is going to be a strong little man, and like I said…He was just so excited to come and meet his great Mommy!

On a not so sappy note…I’m 29 weeks. Joe kindly reminded me that we only have about 11 weeks to go. Where did the time go? In the beginning time was taking too long, I couldn’t wait to get a belly and I couldn’t wait to feel him kick, and now I have a big belly and I feel Champ all the time. As the belly gets bigger the bigger & stronger my little man gets which means the harder he kicks, but I adore it. I finally got LC’s furniture ordered! Yay. It should be here in about a week.

This last weekend we went to Idaho to see some family, and Joe got to come. I was so excited! He hasn’t seen the big family, as I call them, (grandparents, aunts, uncles & cousins) since our wedding. It was my grandma’s 70th birthday party, and later that night it was my little sister’s and one of our cousin’s joint Sweet 16 birthday party. We ate and mingled all day and danced the night away! It was nice seeing people that I haven’t seen in months and some even in years. And even though I’m not the attention seeker and really I don’t like having all the attention on me, it was nice to see that everyone was so excited about my belly! And I loved having my belly touched by everyone. Joe and two of my friends touch it on a daily basis but having my Grandma rub my belly is just so nice. While we were there I also found out about all the other babies coming into the world. A cousin who is turning 17 and got his girlfriend pregnant and yet another cousin who is 17, already has a one year old and just found out she is pregnant with a different guy. Oh my, my, my. As we were standing in line to get our food one of the younger teenage cousins of mine asked why we were so excited to be pregnant and my jaw just dropped…I said hello I’ve been married for over a year and I’m over the age of 20. I guess that just goes to show what kind of place that is. I’m thinking someone needs to put condoms in these kids’ stockings and Easter baskets.

So we all had fun dancing and hanging out and everyone loves watching Joe dance, because well, the boy can dance! And when he drinks he dances a lot! As does my brother! Speaking of my brother he decided to embarrass the birthday girls…he came inside dressed as Nacho Libre and made the girls dance with him. The dancing ended for me that night after doing “The Twist.” I don’t think Champ liked it all too much because my belly hurt. And because my sisters love me so much they did the “belly thrust” with me and we named it the belly dance! It was the move of the night! That night we stayed in Twin Falls at my brothers house and met their new puppy Boomer, who is just cute as can be and then on Sunday we took Harlie to the mall and took her to her favorite store to let her pick out what she wanted for her birthday. And... I’m so excited that I get to see the family here in a couple weeks again for my baby shower!
